Yonghui Li, a Canadian citizen and lifelong law-abiding entrepreneur, has been detained in China without trial since December 13, 2019. For decades, he maintained a flawless business record built on integrity and transparency.

He continues to believe in China’s legal system and that a fair and open trial would ultimately clear his name. Yet his case has been obstructed for years—the result of a few local officials’ wrongful actions and ongoing attempts to conceal their mistake.

We, his family, are calling for his basic right to due process to be restored.
